Discover Many Hopes
Self-sustaining charity, Many Hopes, made its debut in London’s fashion and entertainment scene last night at St Dionis Church, Parsons Green with a glamorous gala evening aimed to fundraise and highlight the problem of severely underprivileged children in Kenya

Hosts for the evening included London’s fashion set Jack Guinness and Jade Parfitt with a charity auction and fashion show led by Jodie Kidd. The looks that graced the runway were generously donated by fashion houses including Burberry, Mulberry, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen and were auctioned off to the 200 dinner guests to raise funds for Many Hopes.
Thomas Keown (Founder, Many Hopes) says: “Our first New York party took the city by storm from day one and tonight we are replicating that in London. Our vision of inviting influencers in their fields to use their influence to strategically solve the complex problem of extreme poverty has powerfully resonated with the NYC fashion and finance communities. We have a huge long-term vision in Kenya, but more than that we are passionate about changing peoples’ attitude to giving and philanthropy in the UK. We believe that everyone wants to live a high impact life that goes beyond themselves, and we are privileged to provide people with the opportunity to experience the sheer pleasure of helping others”.
Discover Many Hopes aims to highlight the work done by the organisation which is dedicated to defeating the causes which create the poverty into which these children are born, primarily by building schools and orphanages, and generating revenue that will allow them to become self-funding and self-sustaining. Many Hopes prides itself on the fact that 100% of public donations go directly to mission because private donors sponsor its operating expenses. Each project is 100% self-sustaining in 10 years.
