Grouse in Fulham

The target of the Glorious 12th was celebrated in art

Article by Rupert Watkins

The grouse continues to elicit respect and devotion within the shooting fraternity. As part of this, Patrick Mavros on Fulham Road hosted a private viewing of a number of art forms devoted to the bird. On display were a stunning collection of photographs by Tarquin Millington-Drake, the Frontiers Travel expert and photographer. Showing the game bird in all its atmospheric glory over its home moors, these appeal to anyone with a spot of cordite in their blood.

Patrick Marvos had also created a limited range of silver grouse sculptures to accompany the exhibition and his wider range of delightful, African - themed silverpieces should also be checked out. The gunsmiths EJ Churchill was also at the evening to display some of its impressive new guns. riddle_stop 2
