IWC assumed the role of Timing Partner for the first time at Goodwood’s 73rd Members’ Meeting and unveiled their latest offering of a solid boron carbide limited edition time piece

The Goodwood 73rd Members’ Meeting saw IWC fulfil the role of official Timing Partner and also commemorated their ten- year partnership with Mercedes- AMG. It was against this backdrop that IWC unveiled their Ingenieur Automatic Edition “AMG”, named in tribute to the new Mercedes- AMG sports car, only the second car built in-house by Mercedes Benz.
Almost as hard as diamond and and as light as aluminium, the “AMG GT” is the first watch to include parts composed of boron carbide, a ceramic that is one of the hardest and scratch resistant materials available. Like its namesake, the “AMG GT” is available in black and yellow, referencing the AMG’s exclusive ‘solarbeam’ colour.
Available from selected IWC retailers, the Ingenieur Automatic Edition “AMG GT” is limited to 25 pieces globally.
