Savile Sheep
The countryside comes to the city today as sheep graze under the doorways of the Row
Despite the somewhat overcast skies, The Campaign for Wool took over Savile Row today to showcase the versatility of this natural, breathable and renewable material. With a flock of Beumont Merino and Exmoor sheep grazing on freshly laid green turf, the tailoring houses of the street are throwing open their doors to show how they tailor and use wool. 25 bespoke AW menswear pieces are also on presentation. Slip along to W1 to say hello to the sheep and rub shoulders with the dapper crowd. The event ends at 6pm this evening.
