Article by Sam Clark
Our good friends Craig and Christina Milnes of Wilson Benesch will be at the Sound & Vision show in Bristol this weekend. Together with around 200 of the world best hi-fi and home cinema manufacturers, they will be presenting an audio-visual feast to fulfil all your acoustic and visual desires.
Now in its 28th year, the Sound & Vision show is the largest and oldest hi-fi show in the country. Top British brands in attendance include Naim, Arcam, Cyrus, Chord Co, Chord Electronics, Neat, Kudos, Harbeth, Entotem, Hi-Fi Racks, Atacama, Quadraspire, Monitor Audio, KEF, Kudos, PMC and Spendor.
Wilson Benesch will be exhibiting their eardrum-caressing Square Five loudspeakers, which debuted at the show last year – Wilson Benesch’s landmark Silver Jubilee 25th Anniversary. The Square Five’s became an instant classic. Stop by, if you can, and say Hi from us.
New kids on the block Sonic Concept are a new British company founded by Darren Hollands and his small team in 2014. Darren acquired the well-respected loudspeaker manufacturer O’hEocha and he and the team are now dedicated to developing the already good O’hEocha designs into outstanding hi-fi equipment. The first crop of this evolution will be unveiled at Sound & Vision 2015.
Lastly but by no means least, much loved brand Rega will be exhibiting their entire range including the new Apheta 2 moving coil cartridge and Aria phono stage. Tantalisingly advanced prototypes of the exciting brand new RX range of loudspeakers will also be making an appearance in a UK show exclusive.
